Innovate Rhode Island Fast
The Innovate Rhode Island FAST program is a collaboration tool for high-growth startups and small businesses in science and technology innovation to access America’s Seed Fund while gaining strategic support for building viable cutting-edge businesses.
IRI-FAST is built on three core structures: 1. Outreach and recruitment of companies, 2. Business strategy, development and mentorship, and 3. Matching funds. This comprehensive program builds on the decades of science and technology (S&T) investment in the state of Rhode Island and positions the region for the next stage of growth.
GOALS
· Coordination the innovation support resources for small businesses
· Increased awareness of the federal SBIR-STTR program
· Increased applications to federal SBIR-STTR opportunities
· Increased non-dilutive grant funding to Rhode Island innovators and businesses
· Increased S&T innovation in the State
· Seed, grow, expand and help innovative businesses thrive in Rhode Island
