Established in 2015 as a way for RI to retain top STEM talent in key industries that are critical to the State’s advanced economy, the Wavemaker Fellowship program provides student debt relief to professionals who work in RI in a STEM or commercial design field. Qualifying individuals are able to apply to receive loan assistance, up to $6,000, for up to four years.
