URI School of Pharmacy to Showcase Research and State-of-the Art Facilities at March 4th Program

The University of Rhode Island’s Business Engagement Center is inviting business leaders to its Kingston campus to tour the College of Pharmacy and learn more about the groundbreaking research and state-of-the-art technology happening at the new $75 million facility. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 4 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. and include presentations by faculty highlighting research initiatives in neuroscience, neurodegenerative diseases, medicinal chemistry/natural products, pharmacology, pharmaceutics and health systems innovations. Following the presentations businesses can tour the facility including the cGMP, patient simulation lab, 3D printing lab and other core facilities. The program concludes with an unveiling of the Alex and Ani Positive Impact Lab and a reception.
