Providence-based KLR (Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd.), one of New England’s largest CPA and business consulting firms, has announced the opening of the Emerging Business Center which will offer co-working office space and accounting services to start-up and emerging businesses. The space will house approximately 10-12 companies that will be selected through an application process.  In addition to office space and services, accepted start-ups will have access to a media room for presentations and meetings.

“Due to the elimination of the Federally-funded City of Providence Innovation Investment Program to start-up businesses that stay in Providence, KLR is stepping in to help fill this void,” announced Alan Litwin, Managing Director of KLR. “We know that start-ups and emerging businesses are the future for the growth of our business community and KLR wants to support and assist these great innovators,” adds Litwin.

The application can be found on the KLR website and start-ups are invited to apply.  Applications will be evaluated by the KLR Start-up and Emerging Business Group.
