Because of the American Heart Association’s commitment to foster the careers of young investigators and senior cardiovascular scientists, the American Heart Association of Rhode Island and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island take pride in hosting a Research Symposium highlighting and acknowledging the work of AHA’s clinical and basic science investigators in Rhode Island.

The event, which will take place on March 20th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown University Alpert Medical School, is designed to facilitate the sharing of information from current and past research awardees and provide an opportunity to meet and network with the scientists.  Elizabeth Harrington, PhD VA Medical Center and Brown University and Corey Ventetuolo, MD, MS, Alpert Medical School and Rhode Island Hospital will share how their research is contributing to the fight against heart disease and stroke.

To attend the Symposium please RSVP by March 13th to leeanne.decarlo@heart.org
