STAC Grant Awardee Lucidux Receives $250K from Slater Technology Fund

Lucidux LLC, a developer of 3D imaging technology received support from the Slater Technology Fund to advance the development and commercialization of its breakthrough product that produces high-resolution images during arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries with sufficient detail and texture to allow doctors to differentiate diseased and healthy tissue. This most recent funding leverages previous awards from the RI Business Plan competition, STAC and the National Institutes of Health.

To develop the technology, Lucidux founder and CEO Jason Harry, Ph.D, is collaborating with Gabriel Taubin, associate professor at Brown University, RI Hospital doctors George Haleblian and Gyan Pareek and corporate partner Photon-X, Inc. of Huntsville, Alabama.
