Betaspring is accepting applications for its Fall 2012 Accelerator which kicks off in Providence on August 20. Teams will be selected though a competitive process. Deadline is June 5.
Twice a year, Betaspring hosts teams from around the country and globe at an intensive 12-week accelerator. The full-time immersion program, which runs in the Fall and Spring, enables teams with a strong start on a high-growth venture to rapidly transform into fundable, scalable companies. Through the program, startups develop and refine their product, launch it to their target customer groups and test their delivery models. Through interactions with Betaspring mentors and select audiences, each startup refines their company and polishes their pitch. By the conclusion of the program, each company is well-positioned to attract follow-on funding or have built a path to profitability where they can operate without additional investment. An active alumni and mentor network sustains and supports Betaspring startups after the program as they tackle the world.
