The April 2 deadline to apply to the 2012 Rhode Island Business Plan Competition is less than three weeks away. The competition is open to everyone and is sponsored by a unique consortium of private, public, and nonprofit organizations, foundations, colleges, universities, and public agencies with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship and development of start-up and early stage companies. Winners and finalists will share prizes valued at more than $200,000.
