Greater Providence Chamber to Announce Third Phase of Knowledge Economy Projects

The Innovation Providence Implementation Council (IPIC) of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce and the City of Providence invites the community to attend the announcement of the next phase of investments in projects that have been identified as promising economic opportunities that can expand key industries and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of the city and state.
A total of $110,000 raised from the Rhode Island Foundation, Providence Economic Development Partnership and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce will be awarded to accelerate projects in the following priority industry targets: Healthcare, Medical Devices and Rehabilitation Services, Design, Alternative Energy, Entrepreneurship and Workforce Development.
The announcement will take place on Wednesday, May 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson & Wales University Harborside Campus, The Cuisinart Center for Culinary Excellence, 333 Shipyard Street, Providence.
