Brown Researcher Co-PI on Project that Confirms Water on Moon

Brown University geology professor Peter Schultz was recently part of an exciting $79 million lunar crater mission that uncovered significant amounts of water in a crater at the moon's south pole.  The discovery proposes plans, currently under review by the Obama administration, to return to the moon at the end of the next decade and construct a lunar base in which astronauts could live and work for months at a time.
