STAC Meeting to be Held on June 22, 2009

RI STAC will have their next meeting on June 22, 2009, starting at 9 a.m. in the offices of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation.
At the meeting, IBM Vice President Nicholas Bowen will review the joint research initiative just signed by Brown and IBM to explore a variety of collaboration and innovation efforts across Rhode Island. Through this project, Brown and IBM will spend the next two years piloting various projects that will involve a statewide collaborative partnership model. The collaborative efforts will address key challenges such as access to high performance computing, healthcare, environment, energy and education.
