NOAA Submits $830M Stimulus Spending Plan to Congress

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) submitted its proposed plan to spend stimulus funding coming to the agency to congress today.
This plan includes $230M for hydrographic surveys, environmental consultations and marine, coastal habitat restoration, and the repair of NOAA vessels. The remainder of the funds are to be spent on procurement, acquisition, and construction projects for the agency.
