Summary
The benefits of gene sequencing are undeniable. Since first decoding the human genome in the 1970s, doctors and researchers have discovered numerous gene sequencing techniques. These techniques have produced valuable information regarding the role genes play in diseases, and have helped them develop treatments — even cures.
But gene sequencing has one significant drawback — it’s wildly expensive.
