Summary

Several years ago, Brown University professor Michael Black was approached by a police department in Virginia to help with an unsolved murder. The department knew Black’s reputation. He was considered a pioneer in the emerging field of forensic video analysis, which uses advanced technology to extract high-quality images from low-quality video. It was just what the police department needed.
