Summary

An idea is just an idea without a prototype. But together, they form the possibility of a new product, service or even a breakthrough medical treatment.  The engineering department at Brown University and researchers at Rhode Island Hospital have teamed up to develop an accurate and accessible way to diagnose anemia. With more than 30 percent of the world’s population afflicted with anemia, a quick and easy diagnosis for this disease has the potential to make a significant contribution to global health.
