Summary

Evidence of the success of Rhode Island Science and Technology Advisory Council’s 2008 Collaborative Research Award program has already surfaced for a group of recipients from BrownUniversity and the University of Rhode Island. The two universities, collaborating on the installation of a new, state-of-the art Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) machine, have received follow-on funding from the National Institutes of Health for the use of this machine, totaling $2 million.
